Lucky Green Juice

 No green beer for me this St. Patrick's Day.  I would much rather have some lucky green juice.  Honestly, juice is one of my favorite things lately, and I look forward to it even more than dessert.  It tastes so good and it always energizes me.  So why is this juice lucky?  Well it is cleansing and rehydrating to your body since I have included cucumber. Anti inflammatory thanks to the ginger. Antibacterial due to the basil, and sweet and delicious from the pear and kiwi.  The tart lime balances it all out for a refreshing post workout (or any time of the day when you are thirsty) drink.

This made me feel refreshed after my run, and I know it will make you feel wonderful too.  Cheers to feeling energized, why not raise a glass of this deliciousness for St. Patty's Day? 

Lucky Green Juice
Serves 1

2 green apples, cut into pieces
2 medium cucumbers, cut into pieces
6 kiwi fruits
juice of 3 limes
1 hunk ginger
1 bunch basil

Put all ingredients through a juicer, stir up and enjoy!
